Military Gaydom Threatens Military Religiondom Freedom
Webmaster Dan in comment on the blog post below said, “The sacred is become the profane and the inane is become more inane.” That applies in spades to something I came across this morning in reading my emails.
There is a kited response to President Obama’s change to the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on military service for gays created some years ago during the Clinton Admininstration. A socialist preacher, Tony Perkins, is saying, “Such legislation would not merely open the military to homosexuals. It would result in a zero-tolerance policy toward those who disapprove of homosexual conduct.”
What are these high-minded religious people to do? Obviously they can’t opt for joining Blackwater, the mercenaries paid more than U.S. military under U.S. contracts to provide security in rear areas. Those people will turn gay on a moments notice just to have more insane fun getting puking drunk at parties to wallow in the corruptions of their profession.
Jesse Ventura said last night on CNN’s “Larry King Live” that serving with gays in the military should not matter. Ventura put it straight-on when he said that we are a “United States Of America”. Jesse would probably also agree that real men will eat quiche because Jesse knows the only reason you protest so judgmentally against something is because you’ve got something else to hide that is greater than the plain facts. Jesse was not reachable for further response about Pastor Tony.
Pastor Tony was not reached for his response to the question of whether he believed in the Bible, or if he did, which part? Close questioning would have to be made of Pastor Tony and his reaction to Christ’s explanations on this matter (the Christ who founded the Christian faith, if you remember).
From Mathew 22: ”29Jesus replied, ‘You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 31But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, 32‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’[a]? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.’”
Mathew 6 says: “10Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
If you are going to go fight under the flag of the United States to advance the interests of the corporatist international socialists, and are on the front line getting your assess shot at, it would seem highly stupidly intolerant to have any concern if the person next to you was anything other than fighting on your side.
There, God made me say that.

I heard on CNN today about a pastor who had resigned after admitting that he was gay. This pastor had been extremely condemnatory of gays and supported legislation to discriminate against gays.
In this reply comment aimed at finding some easy humor, I googled who this pastor could be to emphasize the point that those who condemn a group the loudest are those who hide the truth that they are one of that group.
Instead, I found a pastor who had just resigned from a large Denver church because he was gay. He had been tortured by it for years and had never been a shouter of condemnation of gays.
So, my attempt at easy humor was not to be had.
Christ said to “judge not l’est ye be judged.”
He had that far more well understood than we would at first have thought.

I was able to clarify on the confusion of the above reply comment. It was Ray Ashburn who promoted and authored a lot of anti-gay legislation in California because his “constituents wanted it.”
His comments: “Ashburn, a father of four, is a Republican Senator representing parts of Kern, Tulare and San Bernardino Counties with a history of opposing gay rights.
Ashburn issued a statement on the arrest Wednesday afternoon:
“I am deeply sorry for my actions and offer no excuse for my poor judgment. I accept complete responsibility for my conduct and am prepared to accept the consequences for what I did. I am also truly sorry for the impact this incident will have on those who support and trust me – my family, my constituents, my friends, and my colleagues in the Senate.”
Ashburn served six years as a state Assemblyman before being elected to the State Senate.

What great company we keep…
Here is a list of countries that disallow homosexuals from serving in the military:
* Cuba
* China
* Egypt
* Greece
* Iran
* Jamaica
* North Korea
* Pakistan
* Saudi Arabia
* Serbia
* Singapore
* South Korea
* Syria
* Turkey
* Venezuela
* Yemen
If we are judged by the company we keep perhaps we need to change company?

Absolutely! What could be more important than protecting the right of the insanely religous to condemn the life styles of their fellow man! These people use religion and the bible as a cover for their prejudices and actions that Christ would never have approved.
